櫛引八幡宮（八戸市）

鎌倉時代より南部氏の総鎮守として信仰を集めてきた由緒ある八幡宮。境内の国宝館では2つの国宝(赤糸威鎧兜・大袖付および白糸威褄取鎧兜・大袖付)を展示している。当時をしのばせる建築装飾など、多くの文化財を所蔵する。（国宝館は水曜日と木曜日が休館）

This shrine has been a place of worship since the Kamakura Period (1185-1333) and was the patron shrine of the Nanbu Clan. It houses many cultural assets, including unique architectural features and two national treasures (Akaito-Odoshi Yoroi: Red Samurai Armor and Helmet; and Shiroito-Odoshi Tsumadori Yoroi: White Samurai Armor and Helmet).
